For ages 5–8, with a parent or teacher. Human recitation of each ayah is followed by its clearly labeled translation of meaning, a substantive explanation adapted from Tafsir As-Sa‘di, and a question with five seconds to answer. Opening isti‘adhah and basmala also have separately spoken meanings. The lesson ends with a recap, an everyday activity and full-surah recitation practice. Questions and examples are authored learning material. Read the opening address in the context of the whole surah. The explanation distinguishes sincere worship of Allah alone from worship shared with others. The authored speaking activity helps children explain their own belief calmly; it is not an invitation to label other children.
