For ages 5–8, with a parent or teacher. Human recitation of each ayah is followed by its clearly labeled translation of meaning, a substantive explanation adapted from Tafsir As-Sa‘di, and a question with five seconds to answer. Opening isti‘adhah and basmala also have separately spoken meanings. The lesson ends with a recap, an everyday activity and full-surah recitation practice. Questions and examples are authored learning material. The explanation includes As-Sa‘di’s account of the conquest of Makkah and the sign that the Messenger’s life was nearing its end. These are explained calmly with decorative gardens and ordinary plants; no historical scene or person is depicted. The family activity invites gratitude and asking forgiveness.
